![]() Libgutenprintui2.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or director I initially ran the gimp and it gave the following error. configure -with-gimp2 -enable-libgutenprintui2 CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/cairo -I/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -I/usr/include/gimp-2.0" Sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev libglib2.0-dev libcairo2-dev libpango1.0-dev libatk1.0-dev libgimp2.0-dev Whether it actually prints or not I don't know but hopefully you'll be able to test that now. I was able to then run the gimp & it loaded the gutenprint plugin. Then I build the latest version of gutenprint (5.2.6) from source as well. I'm not sure if this is the setup you're trying to go for but I was able to build the latest gimp with your provided link. Make: *** Error would be very grateful for help, please. Yes, I am obviously new to installing non-debian packages - but at least I managed to reach the Configuration Summary successfully - although the guide givesĪlign -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations -Wnested-externs I did 'make' -I assume make is a trial run prior to 'make install'? ![]() I have followed the instructions in the (attached) guide and successfully matched the 'Configuration Summary:' on page 11 of the attached file. I am trying to install the latest version of gutenprint (5.2.6) on 10.04 as it supports my printers and is the interface I want for printing from gimp. ![]()
